The Search Process |

First, we develop a position specification that carefully describes the basic duties and responsibilities of the position.
This includes the position title, compensation, reporting relationships, education, skills, and work experience of the ideal candidate. We prepare this specification from information given by the client.
During this initial phase, we also obtain a profile of personal characteristics of successful staff within the company. This information serves as the standard against which potential candidates are screened. Moreover, it also assures the client that we understand fully the position and the personal characteristics of the person to be placed.

Locating qualified candidates that closely match the specifications is the next step.
Since individuals with the desired qualities are usually not actively looking for a new position, they must be sought out.
Generally, advertising does not locate acceptable candidates. |

We then interview and carefully screen the most qualified candidates. Candidates are personally evaluated to determine their overall suitability.
The more promising candidates are personally interviewed to obtain a realistic comprehension and understanding of their accomplishments, capabilities, and potential. Candidates are also evaluated to determine their strengths and limitations.
In conducting reference checks, we speak directly with individuals who are, or have been, in the position to evaluate the candidate's performance and character on the job.
These references and evaluations are obtained to provide frank, objective appraisals of the candidates. We rely on the information provided by these individuals and convey the information to you.

Finally, the most qualified candidates are presented to you. We prepare a report on each candidate, and coordinate one or more personal interviews.
